Actress Park Ha-sun will leave SBS Power FM's radio program 'Park Ha-sun's Cine Town' after the broadcast on November 1, according to her agency. She had hosted the show for six years since joining as DJ on November 2, 2020, and listeners knew her as 'Candy DJ.'
Why is Park Ha-sun leaving the radio show?
The agency said Park is currently performing in the play 'The Secret of Flowers' and has upcoming filming schedules for a project set to be released. To concentrate on acting, she decided to step away from the radio program.
What has Park Ha-sun done since 'The Veil'?
Park starred as Seo Su-yeon, head of a team at the National Intelligence Service's crime information center, in MBC's 2021 drama 'The Veil.' Critics gave her performance harsh reviews, citing excessive styling and a failure to control her tone. She was also shot dead in the sixth episode, which led to speculation about whether the criticism had affected her exit.
According to reports, Park has not led a terrestrial, cable, or general entertainment channel miniseries since then. Her later work includes Kakao TV's 'Mom's Diary Season 2' (2022), a voice role in Disney+'s 'Love Says' (2023), a short drama in 2023, a guest role in TVING's 'Spring Romance Story' (2025), and a one-episode special appearance in tvN's 'Secret Audit' (2026), which aired in May.
Recently she has turned to short-form dramas on the platform Pulseek, stage plays, and panel appearances on variety shows such as 'Divorce Reflection Camp' and 'Hidden Eye.'
For international fans
If you want to catch up on Park's acting, 'The Veil' is her most prominent lead role on television to date. Her recent work has been mostly in smaller roles and shorter formats, so availability will depend on each platform's distribution. The report does not give details on her upcoming project's title or release date.
